The Lee Marvin and Charles Bronson Interviews – The late actor Lee Marvin and actor Charles Bronson share the stage at this press conference at the USA Film Festival. Known for their “tough guy roles” on screen, the two stars tell candid and charming stories about working in the film industry. Marvin “pinch-hits,” temporarily, for critic-moderator Judith Crist, (running late because of her own press conference), then tells why he acknowledged “that horse out in the valley,” when he received the Oscar at the Academy Awards. He defines the word “macho” (“Look it up in the dictionary – it means ass”) and encourages reporters to “get down and party.”

.” While Marvin is generally jovial, Bronson shows his sensitive side in a tense, terse conversation with a reporter who offends him with one of his questions. He also talks about being “typecast” as a tough guy and feeling pressured to do another “Death Wish” movie. It’s obvious the two actors are more comfortable on a movie set, than at a press conference, but it’s an entertaining session, none-the-less.
