 Q. Is it true that Sandra Bullock did porno before becoming a Hollywood star? B.K., Atlanta, Ga.
A. To a degree. Sandra would like to foget her shameful porno past (and probably have her fans forget it, too). A few years ago, she did a graphic nude sex scene in a B-movie called Fire On The Amazon. In the flick, she was seen writhing on the floor of a primitive jungle hut with an actor named Craig Sheffer, who played Brad Pitts brother in A River Runs Through It.
Q. I tuned in to a late night talk show recently and caught the tail end of a discussion about film star Helen Bonham Carter. The conversation had to do with the way she, supposedly, relieves tension while filming sex scenes. Part of the audio portion of the talk show was blipped out on my set. I wondered what was so controversial or bad that the people were talking about that somebody censored the conversation. C.A.P., Tucson, Arizona.
A. I dont know specifically what talk show you have reference to, but the conversation could have possibly had something to do with Helenas habit of, shall we say, passing wind, whenever she gets nervous. Paul Bettany, her co-star in the romantic drama, The Heart of Me, claims shes a breath of fresh air, and despite her strange habits, hed definitely do another movie with her.
Q. I heard there was a controversy about a lesbian kiss in Scooby-Do.  Can you bring me up to speed? C.M., Little Rock, Ark.
A. There was a rumor about a lesbian kiss in Scooby-Doo. Actually, the filmmakers called it a protoplasmic exchange between Linda Cardellini and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Geller, however, called it a kiss. Whatever you want to call, it, you aint gonna see it on screen, cause the kiss was cut.
 Q. Please tell me what all this stuff is Im hearing about Britney Spears prayer book. I dont understand why its so controversial. N.E., Casper, Wyoming.
A. I have no idea why this is, but, Britney, supposedly, cant help dozing off when she closes her eyes to say her prayers at bedtime each night. So, she writes them down in a journal, instead, and thats probably the nature of what you heard about the prayer book.
 Q. On an early morning network TV show, I heard some guests discussing the pros and cons of stomach stapling as a method of forcing a person to lose weight. I understand that singer Carnie Wilson tried that method in an effort to take off some pounds. Did it work? B.B., El Paso, Tx.
A. Carnie Wilson did, indeed, have her stomach stapled. At the time, she weighed more than 300 pounds. Since then, shes dropped more than half her body weight, and is still losing.
 Q. My boss said he read something in one of the supermarket tabloids about convicted mass murderer Charles Manson operating a thriving art business from inside his prison cell. Can you please tell me why and how this could happen? Y.H., Salt Lake City, Utah.
A. As outrageous as it may sound, Manson is raking in thousands of dollars for his jailhouse art and prison officials are powerless to stop him, because hes doing nothing wrong. Because of a loophole in the law, the convicted killer is able to earn tons of money without having to pay anything in restitution for the crimes he committed. His signed art work, old voice recordings, yarn dolls and other memorabilia are for sale on the Internet and in stores which specialize in crime memorabilia. What Manson does is legal, as long as he pays for his art supplies, The art belongs to him. He can mail it out to whomever he pleases. A former Manson family member, Sandra Good, who served 10 years in prison for making threats, now heads up the Manson clan and helps sell Manson merchandise on the Internet. Manson has a prison bank account for the money he earns.
 Q. With all the news in the press about Paul McCartneys wedding, I read something about some woman who claims she is the former Beatles secret daughter. Is there any truth to that or is it just a lot of hype? B.J.K., Lawrence, kansas.
A. McCartney has been hounded for years by a French woman who claims she is his secret daughter Michelle, and the inspiration of one of his most famous ballads. In her photographs, she has an amazing resemblance to the former Beatle. Paul, however, has bitterly disputed her claim and says theres no truth to her story whatsoever.
 Q. Whats with Nicole Kidmans new hairstyle? I liked her as a redhead. A.N., Oklahoma City, Okla.
A. You could say, I guess, that Nicole wanted to wash that man right out of my hair. She did show up at the MTV Movie Awards with blonde highlights and a shorter Veronica Lake-like hairdo with peek-a-boo bangs.
 Q. What was the REAL reason Justin broke up with Britney. Come on, now, tell the truth. C.S., Alberta, Canada.
A. Our sources say Justin split with Britney because they stopped having sex together after the pregnancy scare. Thats when their red-hot romance turned ice-cold.
 Q. I thought Garth Brooks divorced his wife so he could marry Trisha Yearwood. Now I hear hes backed out. Whats the deal? C.B., Ft. Worth, Tx.
A. Reportedly, Garth is upset, confused and frustrated about his breakup with his wife. He even was said to have begged her to take him back. Right now, hes told friends and the press that everything is on hold while he recovers from his trauma. (Emotional feelings aside, when youre that rich and have to give up that big a rockpile, it can cause a person to have second doubts about his actions).
